Inermediate Fly Lines

Intermediate fly lines sink very slowly. Fly fishermen use them to fish with streamers in shallow rivers and with wet flies in lakes and rivers. Intermediate lines are perfect for nymph fishing of trout and grayling at great lengths. The lines offer significant resistance under water, so the fish often hook themselves, whereas the reeled in line doesn’t leave any trail on the surface of the water and is not frightening the fish away. The intermediate lines are essential for fishing in lakes for all species of fish to the depth of roughly 2 metres.
