Exclusive tying material made from chinchilla fur. The chinchilla has the densest fur of all terrestrial mammals. Up to 60 very fine hairs can grow from one follicle. Fly tyers thus have access to an extremely fine material with a small number of thicker hairs. This structure of the fur has created an incredibly pleasant material for tying flies, which has a great ability to capture very small bubbles of air, imitating the movement of aquatic organisms in the water.
