Sink Tip Lines
Sink tip lies are floating fly lines with sinking tip. The group comprises a large variety of lines differing in their length and the speed of the tip sinking, which is worth considering when selecting a fly line. Similarly as sinking fly lines the sink tip lines are used to fish at various depths under water surface. The basic characteristics of sink tip lines differing them from the sinking fly lines are the following:
– sink tip lines move the lure in a sinusoid from the surface to the water bed;
– sink tip lines may be easily removed from water before another casting thanks to their floating section;
– with sink tip lines we can fish despite obstacles in water, which would not be possible with classical sinking fly lines or intermediate lines.
