Zonkers

Zonkers are pieces of tanned animal skin cut by a machine in long strips of varied width. The Zonker strips of adequate width are used in constructing artificial flies of different body sizes on fly fishing hooks of various sizes. Narrow strips stretching outside of the fly hooks perfectly work in water to provoke fish to attack. The fragments of Zonker hair which have not been used are good for making effective dubbing.
