BG-17 are designed for trout fishing. Those hooks are ideal for tying of bigger streamers, buggers, muddlers and lures. Also usefull for tuing wet flies and nymphs. BG-17 hooks are made from a high carbon steel, which is hardened and tempered according to an exacting formula that makes a long life for them.
