Glass fiber – big come back – was invented in the year 1912 and the line production started in the year 1930. Microfibers are manufactured of water glass or molten glass. Thanks to the synthetic resin, fiber is formed into any shape. The temperature do not affect fiberglass, not deforming, not changing volume. Many world brands use this durable material for line production, for the rod production also. The May Fly rod is example of this. The rod was designed by Piotr Zieleniak, well known European Champion. Unpolished blank is made of S-Glass fiberglass and has got Pacific Bay guides. The traditionally agate guide is in old style. The pieces of rod are connected with thin-walled fiberglass joints. Thanks to big experience of rod designer all is premeditated, rod action, space out guides and handle. The grip is made of Portuguese AAAA cork what ensure good hold. The reel seat is manufactured of aluminum in CNC technology and fasten on exotic wood. The colour of handle components is similar to colour of guides wrapping and rod blank. Comes complete with protective tube for storage, made of fiberglass.
The rod is covered by a 25-year service warranty.
