WizWool 335 Hoodie - Advanced Merino Performance Layer.

Keeping warm and comfortable is essential for all our outdoor activities - especially when fishing in changing weather conditions.

That is why we have continued to develop our mid layer concept.

Through studying how the body moves during casting, reeling, and general activity, we identified the different thermal and stretch needed across key muscle zones. Based on these findings, we created the WizWool family of various base and midlayers.

The WizWool 335 Hoodie is the ultimate wool fleece. A perfect balance of softness, warmth, and performance. It is crafted from Woolmark-certified yarn, with the front panels featuring an ultra-fine 15.5–18.5 micron Merino wool blend. This finer fiber not only creates a luxuriously soft surface but also increases the fabric weight, giving the front panels a substantial 545 g/m² feel.

With an overall fabric weight of 335 GSM and 18.5-micron Merino fibers, the

WizWool 335 delivers exceptional comfort and functionality.

WizWool 335 combines natural thermoregulation, durability, and stretch, ensuring unrestricted movement and consistent warmth on the water.

WizWool 335 Hoodie has a hand rest pocket or kangaroo pocket onto the front to warm your hands when it is cold. Furthermore it has a hood with drawstrings, so you can adjust it to be tight, when it is windy.

Thermoregulating Warmth

Heavier than the WizWool 210, the 335 fabric provides enhanced insulation and comfort in cold to cool conditions, while still allowing excess heat and moisture to escape.

Moisture Control

335 absorb moisture vapor from the base layer, ideally our WizWool 150.

The outside polyester ensures rapid drying / evaporation.

Odor Resistant & Easy Care

Natural Merino wool properties reduce odor build-up, allowing for longer wear without washing. Ideal for extended fishing trips.

Stretchable Construction

The addition of Lycra ensures flexibility and shape retention, allowing full freedom of movement during casting and layering.

Durable & Reliable

Reinforced polyester content increases abrasion resistance and longevity,

even with repeated washing and exposure to outdoor conditions.

Comfort-Driven Design

Flatlock seam construction minimizes bulk and irritation, maintaining comfort whether worn directly against the skin or as a mid-layer.

Use & Layering

The WizWool 335 Hoodie is designed as a mid to heavy weight layer.

Ideally used together with either WizWool 150 or 210 as the base layer.

335 is providing warmth under a shell (jacket) or as a standalone piece in mild conditions.
